After a four hour train journey and a two hour wait at the airport we were finally allowed to check in. The lady behind the counter looked at Sam, laughed and said ” would you like extra leg room ” Sam said yes and luckily we got it for free, as there was barely anyone on the flight. We boarded the plane at 7.35 and took off just after 8pm. The flight took longer than usual because there was a 115 mph headwind. We arrived in Reykjavik at 10.03 (local time) 
We were met by Odinn and had a two hour journey to Gunnarsholt. The journy was awkward at times not kowing what to say or if he would understand, but we got on well and he put Pink Floyd on the radio. He took us to our room which was two single beds and a wardrobe, the shower and toilets were in seperate rooms across the hall. It was a very long day and we were grateful for the beds! We went to sleep and were woken 6 hours later by the alarm telling us it was 7 am and breakfast starts at 7.30!
